I am TOO excited!

Sex and the city 2 is finally here! And the trailer is just AMAZING - I have watched it a trillion times, and still can't get enough. I can't wait to see all the fabulous dresses and shoes they will be wearing, and from the trailer I can see they will be wearing everyones wardrobe dream.

"You're on a Camel in the middle of the Arabian desert, if you're not having a hot flash you're dead." - This did make me laugh :)
I didn't want to watch the trailer encase it would spoil it - but I could NOT RESIST! It's made me more excited about it then ever. One month untill it comes out so get your credit cards ready to pre-book your tickets in may - I know I will be.

I really enjoyed watching this,

Behind the scenes at topshop's high summer shoot, Im loving the music in the background which matched how fun the models were having at the fashion shoot.

Company's High Street Edit - First Edition

While looking through the company's new magazine 'Hight Street Edit' - I feel in love with it and what's inside. The second I opened it I knew it was going to be something different then any other fashion magazine. From the outside it looks normal and glossy but when you open it, it's full of fashion surprises! Every page draws you into a fashion frenzy.
A few pages into the magazine, Company's fashion director wrote a fashion note. Something I really related too that Oonagh Rennan said "The thing is, clothes and shopping rule my life - that's just the way it is. I go to bed at night styling up my outfit for the next day in my head. I often wake with a start, wishing I had brought those fablous heels in Zara because they would hae transformed my ailing winter wardrobe - and, chance are, they will have gone by the morning.
Insane, sad, spolit, you may think - or maybe you're saying, "OMG, I do that!" We know there are those of you who are equally as passionate about clothes and pursuits of the perfect outfit as we are."
And that's exactly what I was thinking as I was reading that, how funny?
That's why the clothes-obessed lot at company have brought you COMPANY HIGH-STREET EDIT. They understand that you need to know what trends count now, that you want to know how to wear them and, most importantly of all, where to find it all first.
The Company team have shopped there clogs off to bring you everything that's worth knowing, buying, coveting and obsessing about for your most stylish season ever.

The next edition is in September.

Lady Gaga's fashion CV

Lady gaga's outfits always seem to amaze me, every time I see photo's of her at events or even pictures in a magazine or on television - I just think wow, she is the queen of frocks! It’s fair to say there is no wardrobe quite like hers. From bras that shoot sparks to coats of furry frogs, the outrĂ© attire created by the performer’s Haus of Gaga team is consistently traffic stopping and jaw dropping. I found some of my favorite exploding fashion highlights from the pop phenomenon.

In this photo Lady Gaga arrives for this year’s Brits in a tiered cape with a lace mask.

Gold Star - This retro-meets-futuristic ensemble is a perfect example of Lady Gaga’s staple style.

Style sphere - The dramatic dresser didn’t disappoint at this year’s Grammy’s in a Giorgio Armani Prive gown teamed with those notorious lobster claw heels by Alexander McQueen.

Heads up - We have no idea how the star stayed upright in this head piece but the wow factor was worth it…

Platform princess

For a while I have had my eye on wooden heeled shoes, but have never thought of buying some! While I was looking on Kurt Geiger I found some pretty beige platforms with a dark wooden heel.

These will make me tower above literally everyone in these mega platforms! (Well hopefully) Pretty stylish and slightly simple, they will go with everything.

While looking on Mulberry's website,

I came across these wonderful sandals. There so cute, I need a pair!
Prints are everywhere for the spring summer season. The fuzzy floral print is gorgeously vivid  Technicolour pattern. The print is found on the strip of the fabric that it threaded through the leather thongs of the sandal and is wrapped around the ankle before being tied into a bow.

Mulberry Playground Boutique

A sugar-sweet wonderland of shoes and accessories!

On the 27th March Mulberry launched there 'Mulberry playground' shoe boutique in the basement of it's flagship Bond Street store in London. The spring/summer 2010 collection celebrates all things sweet and naive - and of course gorgeous.
Mulberry playground was inspired Sofia Coppola's film The Virgin Suicides and Tim Walker's photography.

In a playground feast of all things lust-have from adorable summery mid-height sandals to fringey sharp-hued suede ankle boots, and tiny make-up bags and purses printed with this season's signature candy-coloured fairground carousel and party-balloon digi-prints.
It will make you feel like a little girl in a sweet shop!

In the shop I found this fairground horse keyring with a joined Mulberry ride token charm. It's made from pale gold, I really want it. Shame I don't have a spare £100 laying around!

Alexander McQueen's final legacy

After the sudden and tragic death of the designer Lee McQueen last month, there has been mounting speculation over the future of the Alexander McQueen brand.
It’s comforting news then, that business appears to be continuing as usual: the label has just launched its first men's underwear collection for autumn/winter 2010.
His new collection consists of four different ranges, based on the “Basic” line, which comprises boxers, briefs and vests in simple block colours such as grey, black, white and navy.
But it’s the “Fashion” series which will appeal to true McQueen fans - the collection draws inspiration from iconic McQueen prints and details, such as the infamous skull print and will be updated every season to include the freshest designs.
Sleepwear is catered for in the form of luxury pyjamas and boxers and is inspired by the traditional gentlemen of Savile Row, the London street famous for bespoke tailoring and where Lee McQueen began his career as an apprentice.
The lounge wear range draws on military wear, featuring long johns, classic Henley tops and jogging bottoms made from lightweight jersey fabrics.
Jonathan Akeroyd, CEO of Alexander McQueen, said of the launch: “The development of our menswear is a priority for us and expanding the diversity of products within that sector is mandatory.
"The underwear line places the brand in a new product and price category, whilst maintaining our aesthetic, creativity and quality.”
With prices starting at £35 for a “Basic” boxer, to £370 for a silk jacquard pyjama set, we couldn’t agree more.

The collection will be available from June this year at www.alexandermcqueen.com

Fashion forcast

The tend: Bold prints
Sure the trend changes a little each year, but it will forever be our go to look whenever spring comes knocking on our doors. This time though, forget about Sienna Miller in head to toe hippiness. The spring/summer 2010 look is much sharpen with the new neutrals like shell or blush, soft tailoring and utility pieces.

Flowers are big news

Florals.
You'd have to have been on another planet to miss this Spring trend which has already made an enormous impact on the High Street. Floral prints were big news on the Spring/Summer catwalks appearing at Roberto Cavalli, Stella McCartney and Prada to name but a few, and as the Autumn/Winter shows go on it seems it will be big news for another season to come. The floral trend is a great excuse to indulge your inner femininity by stocking up on pretty floaty summer dresses. If you're not feeling that girly then hint at the trend with bold print accessories such as silk scarves, jewellery and printed totes.

Flowers are big news and no stylish wardrobe should be without a little floral dress - anything from faded ditsy prints to big, bold booms.
An outfit I have in mind would be to work to tends into one outfit by mixing a little floral dress with knee-high socks and lace up flats.
I found a cute dress in TOPSHOP and a pair of knee-high sock. I really want them.

Another outfit I have in mind to go with that little floral dress would be to wear it with black leggings and military style boots, this would take the girliness right out of that floral dress.

Oscers Red Carpet

This year at the Academy Awards 2010 the red carpet was full of elegant and understated gowns, with many sequined detailing and satin textured. Many celebrities seemed to hit the mark this year by dressing for the occasion without overdoing it.

Carey Mulligan
She may have missed out on Best Actress but the star’s winning Prada dress, with a fun embellished body and high front hem, was perfect for her.

Amanda Seyfried
Amanda went all out in a super sized Giorgio Armani Privé silk strapless gown in a soft green that wowed against her porcelain skin.

  Diane Kruger
Diane looked at home in a monochrome Chanel Couture number.

Vera Farmiga
The actress stood out in a hot pink Marchesa gown boasting super-sized ruffles.

Sarah Jessica Parker
SJP worked a pale lemon Chanel Couture gown with blue ruffled detailing.

Kate Winslet
Kate went metallic in a Yves Saint Laurent gown with matching accessories and a diamond Tiffany necklace.

Cameron Diaz
Cam oozed old school glamour in an opulent Oscar de la Renta gown.

Demi Moore
More ruffles and blush tones were sported by Demi; hers courtesy of Versace Atelier.

Twilight's leading actress Kristen Stewart was the big fashion winner on the red carpet at the 2010 Oscars. Stewart wore a deep midnight blue strapless gown by Monique Lhuillier. Her hair was wrapped in a bun and complemented her simple makeup.
The actress played it safe in a classic Monique Lhuillier gown and (just) managed a smile.
